The astronomical observatory of Harvard University at Cambridge, Massachusetts, founded in 1839. HCO is a partner in the Magellan Telescopes and the Giant Magellan Telescope. HCO and the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory jointly run the Harvard–Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics.
