The first Chinese astronomy satellite, launched in 2017 June to study X-ray transients, X-ray binaries, and gamma-ray bursters. It carries three X-ray telescopes, one observing at high energies (20–250 keV), another at medium energies (5–30 keV), and the third at low energies (1–15 keV).
