The third-smallest constellation, lying in the northern sky, representing an arrow. Its brightest star is Gamma Sagittae, magnitude 3.5. WZ Sagittae is a recurrent nova seen to erupt in 1913, 1946, 1978, and 2001. M71 is an 8th-magnitude globular cluster.
