单词 robotics
释义
robotics

Physics
  • The study of the design, manufacture, and operation of robots, i.e. machines capable of being programmed to perform mechanical tasks and to move by automatic control. Robots are used in industry to perform tasks that are either repetitive or in dangerous environments. The concept of programmable robots dates back to the 1920s. As computers develop robots will be used for more and more intricate tasks, e.g. laser cutting.

Computer
  • A discipline overlapping artificial intelligence and mechanical engineering. It is concerned with building robots: programmable devices consisting of mechanical actuators and sensory organs that are linked to a computer. The mechanical structure might involve manipulators, as in industrial robotics, or might concern the movement of the robot as a vehicle, as in mobile robotics. Robotics research is used in artificial intelligence as a framework for exploring key problems and techniques through a well-defined application.

Electronics and Electrical Engineering
  • The scientific field concerned with the design, manufacture, and operation of robots. A range of scientific, engineering, and computing techniques are required to make a robot work; some major concerns include sensing, motion control, interaction with the physical world, and safety.
