An intrusive igneous rock consisting of essential titanaugite (titanium-rich augite) and kaersutite (with or without biotite) set in a light-coloured base of analcime or glass. This rock type is a member of the alkali lamprophyre group of rocks, which includes camptonites, monchiquites, and alnoites.
