Russian mini-research module and fifth permanent element on the International Space Station (ISS). Also known as Mini-Research Module-1, the 6-metre-long, 2.3-metre-wide module was transported to the ISS in May 2010 aboard the space shuttle Atlantis. It has two docking ports, but it is primarily used for storage and some payload operations.
