A nocturnal, arboreal primate (family Lorisidae), about 35 cm long with a short tail, grey-brown, woolly fur, and opposable thumbs but a vestigial index finger. It lives in the canopy of rainforests in tropical Africa, feeding on fruit, gums, and insects.
