A geometrical construct which has position but no size. Its position is often specified by coordinates.

1 To place a browser cursor over a hyperlink to another Web site and then clicking. This results in the document referenced in the hyperlink being displayed by the browser.

Geography
In a GIS, a zero-dimensional feature. Because every object takes up space, no geographic feature can really be without length or width. Instead, points can be used to represent geographic features on maps; only its name and location are needed. See M. N. DeMers (2009).
