A meteor shower producing moderate activity between July 15 and August 20. The shower was once thought to have a northern and a southern component, but most observers now consider only the southern component to be well established; hence the shower is often referred to as the Southern Delta Aquariids. It peaks on July 29 from a radiant at RA 22h 40m, dec. −16°, with a ZHR around 15. The shower’s parent body is comet P/2008 Y12.
