释义 | phase-shift discriminator [`fāz ¦shift di´skrim·ǝ´nād·ǝr] ELECTRONICS A discriminator that uses two similarly connected diodes, fed by a transformer that is tuned to the center frequency; when the frequency-modulated or phase-modulated input signal swings away from this center frequency, one diode receives a stronger signal than the other; the net output of the diodes is then proportional to the frequency displacement. Also known as Foster-Seeley discriminator. |
