释义 | rubble [`rǝb·ǝl] CIVIL ENGINEERING 1. Rough, broken stones and other debris resulting from the deterioration and destruction of a building. 2. Rough stone or brick used in coarse masonry or to fill the space in a wall between the facing courses. GEOLOGY 1. A loose mass of rough, angular rock fragments, coarser than sand. 2. See <<talus>> HYDROLOGY Fragments of floating or grounded sea ice in hard, roughly spherical blocks measuring 0.5-1.5 meters (1.5-4.5 feet) in diameter, and resulting from the breakup of larger ice formations. Also known as rubble ice. |
