Immunoelectrophoresis which uses two wells of application, one above the other, along the electrical axis-the anodal well filled with antibody and the cathodal with a negatively charge antigen; electrophoresis results in the antigen and antibody migrating cathodally and anodally, respectively, and a line of precipitation appears where the two meet.
