释义 | anechoic chamber [¦an·ǝ¦kō·ik `chām·bǝr] ENGINEERING 1. A test room in which all surfaces are lined with a sound-absorbing material to reduce reflections of sound to a minimum. Also known as dead room; free-field room. 2. A room completely lined with a material that absorbs radio waves at a particular frequency or over a range of frequencies; used principally at microwave frequencies, such as for measuring radar beam cross sections. |
