A technique for studying various phenomena in solids and liquids and chemical reactions of muonium atoms, in which a beam of polarized muons is focused on a sample and the loss of polarization of muons in the sample is monitored by observing the spatial anisotropy of electrons or positrons emitted in the muon decay.
