I scope [`ī ´skōp] ELECTRONICS A cathode-ray scope on which a single signal appears as a circular segment whose radius is proportional to the range and whose circular length is inversely proportional to the error of aiming the antenna, true aim resulting in a complete circle; the position of the arc, relative to the center, indicates the position of the target relative to the beam axis.
