中国佛教禅宗的“中华五山”之一，现存唯一以印度阿育王命名的千年古寺，有“东南佛国”之称。位于浙江省宁波市鄞州区五乡镇宝幢太白山麓华顶峰下，占地面积12.41万平方米，建筑面积2.34万平方米。1984年，被国务院列为全国汉族地区佛教重点寺院。2006年5月25日，阿育王寺元至清时期古建筑被国务院列为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。又称阿育王广利禅寺。
