设施定位（Facility Location）问题是近似算法和运筹学中的一个经典的组合优化问题，该问题也称为设施选址问题。在问题实例中，给定m个设施和n个客户，每个设施i（1 ≤ i ≤ m）有一个打开费用fi ≥ 0，设施i和客户j（1 ≤ j ≤ n）之间有一个非负的连接费用cij。通常，cij是设施i和客户j之间的距离。问题要求打开m个设施中的若干设施，将每一个客户连接到一个打开的设施上，使得总的打开费用和总的连接费之和最小，在此总的打开费用指打开的所有设施的打开费用之和，总的连接费用指所有客户到其连接到的设施的连接费用之和。
