释义	海牙规则 Encyclopedia 工学国际海事条约释 Hague Rules《海牙规则》为了统一海上件杂货运输中有关承运人的权利、义务和赔偿责任，限制承运人以契约自由为借口，任意在提单上规定免责条款和扩大免责范围，以期在承运人和托运人双方之间建立更为合理的权利、义务关系，1924年8月25日在比利时布鲁塞尔召开的外交会议上制定并通过的国际公约，并于1931年6月2日起生效。全称《关于统一提单若干法律规定的国际公约》。因为公约是在1921年国际法协会所属海上法委员会在荷兰海牙召开的一次有关提单的法律问题国际讨论会议的基础上制定的，所以通常被称为《海牙规则》。见《关于统一提单若干法律规定的国际公约》。
