释义	持续性植物状态 Encyclopedia 法学医疗事故（参见条）释 persistent vegetative state; PVS持续性植物状态神经中枢的高级部位大脑皮质功能丧失，使患者呈意识障碍或昏迷状态。患者的神经中枢的中心部位（皮质下核和脑干）功能，如呼吸、体温调节、消化吸收、分泌排泄、新陈代谢以及心跳循环等依然存在，不需要呼吸辅助装置来维持。又称去大脑皮质状态。俗称植物人。
