释义	Tara Encyclopedia 哲学度母释 Tara度母 “度母”意为“救度之母”，藏传佛教中一般认为是观音菩萨的化身，与般若波罗蜜多菩萨（般若佛母）是同一体。因此，有时佛教经论又作般若救度母、多罗观自在菩萨、多罗观音，以及“三世诸佛之母”“一切众生之母”“度诸穷苦中之母”等。密号是“悲生金刚”“行愿金刚”，取由大悲观世音菩萨所生而行愿之意。
