用同步辐射作为激发源的X射线荧光分析方法。由于同步辐射源的高强度，因此SRXRF的分析灵敏度很高，元素探测极限比PIXE方法还高几个量级。若再使用晶体单色器，可实现同步辐射X射线微探针的扫描分析。
