舒尔函数
一类以整数分拆为指标所刻画的对称函数，也可以看成是初等对称函数和完全齐次对称函数的推广。在组合数学中，舒尔函数以I.舒尔（Issai Schur，德国，1875-01-10～1941-01-10）命名。它最早由A.-L.柯西于1815年定义。C.科斯特卡（Carl Kostka，安得堡，1846-12-03～1921-12-28）最先考察了舒尔函数的单项式展开，D.E.李特尔伍德（Dudley Ernest Littlewood，英国，1903-09-07～1979-12-06）利用半标准杨表（见杨表）给出了展开系数的组合解释。
