普通话推广
中国的一项基本国策。中国当代语言地位规划的核心举措。《中华人民共和国宪法》第十九条第五款明确规定：“国家推广全国通用的普通话。”《中华人民共和国国家通用语言文字法》第三条规定：“国家推广普通话，推行规范汉字。”普通话是现代汉民族共同语的标准语，中华人民共和国的国家通用语言。1956年《国务院关于推广普通话的指示》将普通话定义为以北京语音为标准音、以北方话为基础方言、以典范的现代白话文著作为语法规范的普通话。该定义一直沿用至今。简称推普。
