先验分布
先验信息是在抽样之前根据经验或历史资料获得的有关统计问题的一些信息。是否利用先验信息是贝叶斯统计学与经典统计学的主要区别之一。贝叶斯学派认为，任何一个未知参数都可看作一个随机变量，在观测（或抽取）样本之前，可以用一个概率分布去描述该随机变量的先验信息，这个分布称作先验分布（prior distribution），有时简称为先验。
