把具有一定浓度的氢氧化钠溶液（碱液）加热到90～100℃，通过带孔注浆管在自重作用下灌入土中，土粒表层会逐渐发生膨胀和软化，进而发生表面的相互融合和胶结（钠铝硅酸盐类胶结）的地基处理方法。这种融合胶结是非水稳性的，只有在土粒周围存在有氢氧化钙（Ca(OH)2）和氢氧化镁（Mg(OH)2）的条件下，才能使这种胶结构成为强度高且具有水硬性的钙铝硅酸盐络合物。
