局部线性嵌入算法，其基本思想是非线性流形在其较小的局部区域上可以近似看成欧氏空间，即满足局部线性。因此，在每个样本所处的局部邻域内，此样本可以用其近邻点在最小二乘意义下进行最优的线性重构表示。英文缩写LLE。LLE就是将这种样本之间的近邻重构表示关系作为流形上局部几何属性的刻画，相当于用分段的线性面片近似代替复杂的几何形状。以此为动机，LLE算法降维的目标空间就应该保持流形的这种局部几何，即在低维嵌入空间中的样本之间应该保持与原始空间一致的线性重构表示关系。
