引力透镜
由于引力场能使光线偏折，从而使大质量物体像透镜那样会聚光线的现象。光线在经过引力场附近时会发生偏转，因此，一个引力场源对它后面其他天体射来的光线，就可能产生凸透镜那样的会聚作用。它可以改变天体像的强度分布。观测者位置适当时，就有可能看到像的亮度大大增强。引力场源的这种效应称为引力透镜。
