裂变链式反应
热中子引起易裂变核(如235U)发生裂变时,放出的中子至少有一个可以引起新的裂变,使之一代一代继续下去的反应过程。一般每次裂变平均放出二三个中子。这些中子有三种可能的归属:引起裂变、被吸收和逃逸。
